How long does a custom cabinet project take?

It depends on scope. A single bathroom vanity moves faster than a full custom kitchen. After your consultation, Mark will give you a realistic timeline, not an optimistic one. Most full kitchen projects run 8–14 weeks from signed contract to final installation.
What does "fully custom" actually mean?

No catalog. No semi-custom boxes with fancy doors slapped on. Every piece is designed from scratch around your space, your architecture, and your life. Mark produces CAD drawings and 3D mockups before a single board is cut, so you see exactly what you're getting upon request.

What wood species and materials do you work with?
Wide range, anything from walnut, white oak, maple, cherry, alder, reclaimed timbers, and more. Material selection happens during the design phase and is driven by your aesthetic, the architecture of the home, and the realities of Colorado's dry mountain climate. Mark will steer you toward what actually performs at altitude.
Can you handle the demands of mountain home construction - moisture, altitude, dry air, temperature swings?

This is something Mark thinks about in every build. Wood moves, more than you think. Mountain environments are harder on cabinetry than coastal or flatland homes. His joinery methods, finish choices, and material specs are all informed by 20+ years of working with wood and years of direct experience with Colorado conditions.
